Marantz crackling sound. My amp (a marantz now nearly 20 years old) has started to cause my speakers to crackle to a point where they are un-usable. I immediately set up the receiver when I got home and noticed that the front left speaker is crackly/fuzzy. I did the caps/transistors/diodes on the PE01 preamp/buffer board and came up on the DBT just fine. These don't appear when I connect the same speaker to any of the other monoblocks (have 3 of them), so this leads me to think something's wrong with the connections from this monoblock Worked fine, but after a while the "crackling" would start on the rears isolated to preamp because it would do it even with an external amp to jumpers.
